Advicefor Wheel Settings. I read the online doc for what each force feedback setting does and I have figured out how to make my wheel closer to games like Assetto Corsa: -reduce center spring force to 0, it's a canned effect based on slip angle, not what the front tires are doing. -reduce dampening force to 0 if on a g29/g920/g923 etc

Maybeyou can configure the software to increase the force of the self-centering. I don't remember well the name of the option, but I think the Logitech software had a way to make the steering wheel return to center automatically independently of the force feedback. It's not very realistic, but it may help with drifting.
AssettoCorsa reproduces this "self-steer" with a steering wheel controller with force feedback. However, gamepads do not have FFB. Set controller settings to: Speed Sensitivity: 100% 0%* (Steering Speed: 100%) Steering Gamma: 100%

RunAssetto Corsa and enable "FFBClip" in MAIN MENU -> OPTIONS -> GENERAL -> UI Modules. New features and how to make sense of it all: Gain smoothing now makes sure you won't get any big jolts as you enter that first corner. Gains are adjusted gradually and smoothly for that luxurious feel.
